Empowering Early Learners for Success

Meet the Teacher:

Hello! My name is Michelle Erla, and I am beyond excited to fulfill a long-time dream of opening my very own home daycare. This dream has been with me since my daughter, Reagan, was born 24 years ago. While I wasn’t able to pursue it at that time, I continued working in various educational roles, gaining valuable experience along the way.

Over the years, I’ve held many positions in education, including assistant teacher, lead teacher, director of a before-and-after-school program, and director of two different child care centers/preschools. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and have completed all coursework towards an early childhood endorsement. With over 20 years of experience working with children—many of those with preschoolers—caring for kids has always been my passion.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help foster a love for learning from an early age. Their curiosity, imagination, creativity, and excitement to learn never cease to inspire me!

Now, in 2024, my dream has come to life! I am thrilled to open my daycare and offer high-quality care and educational experiences for your child. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know your family, and starting this exciting journey together!

About Us

Meet our Pet:

We cannot forget our four-legged friend, Jagger. He is a two-year-old English Springer Spaniel that LOVES children!  He can usually be found sitting at the door, wagging his tail in excitement, and ready to greet both you and your child. He loves being in the classroom with us most of the day and absolutely loves outside time.  We have an electric fence in the yard that gives him plenty of space to roam, but it keeps him away from the playground area. He has a gated area in the classroom where he stays during our lunch and snack times or if we simply need a break from him.

This is what one of our friends says about him. “Jagger is my best buddy. I will miss him,” as he gives him a hug before going home.

“We are beyond grateful for you - you are showing “L” what kindness, patience, fun, curiosity and team work looks like and I see it often.”
